The Vintage Garden (Unit 12)

Welcome to The Vintage Garden. Since about 2006 we have been dealing in restored (by us) quality vintage garden tools and country bygones. We will aim to have a good supply of tools always in our permanent stall at Hungerford Arcade or you will find us at the Malvern and Shepton Mallet Flea markets, the annual Nunney Street market in Somerset in August, various “sortouts” such as the 4×4 and Vintage Sortout at Newbury Show ground in the spring and Autumn amongst other things. Please contact us if there is anything in particular you are seeking or if you have a surplus of tools you may wish to sell.

Husband and wife team, Trevor and Jane, started out specialising mainly in Studio Pottery and for over 10 years traded predominantly through Antiques Fairs. They have always been keenly interested in hand-made items, whether made from pottery or iron.

In conjunction with their move to Hungerford Arcade in August 2008, they
changed their focus to concentrate on vintage gardenalia and country items. The Vintage Garden stocks blacksmith made items as well as the more well known names such as Brades, Elwell, Cornelius Whitehouse, Tyzack and Skelton. The range of garden implements includes axes, hoes, forks, spades and hedging tools. An extensive range of  quality bill hooks are always in stock. If you’re looking for something specific, they’ll always do their best to source it for you.Trevor and Jane are more than happy to clear sheds, barns, garages and are willing to travel. They’ll also consider buying items of Studio Pottery.
