The country seat of Lady Langdon
On the 18th May 2013, I published Part II of Leonard Martin’s stunning dolls house which took him 26 years to build. As it was being exhibited and was too heavy to move to take further photographs, Len said he would send the photos onto me as soon as Langdon Hall was back home. This he did and Hungerford Arcade is very proud to release these further pictures which complete the interior of this beautiful house.

“Welcome to the world of miniature”
This elegant country house comprises of the following:
Two fine reception rooms, both boasting ornate, gilded plaster
ceilings and handsome fireplaces.
Two exquisite bedrooms each having their own, private en-suite
bathroom.
The scrubbed and functional kitchen is located on the ground floor,
at the rear of this impressive home and is certainly the hub of the
household.
The grand marble floored entrance hall leads to a lavish stairway
and then up to a gallery landing which is lit by a spectacular crystal
chandelier.
Langdon Hall was designed and built by Leonard Martin over
a period of 26 years
and at a cost of approximately £6,000.

The bathroom of the green room is laid with approximately 68 real slate tiles

The kitchen floor is real slate and there are approximately 100 pieces. The chimney breast has approximately 480 real miniature bricks , all fitted by hand. All the furniture including the all delicious food on the table I made by hand. The scullery maid was hand made for me.
The door on the left leads to the dining room and the door to the right leads into the sitting room.
