A Word from the Editor

Welcome to our Newsletter which I hope finds you all well and happy despite our wet winter weather. Never mind, Spring is just around the corner and our gardening area is already booming with customers getting their gardens ready for the Spring.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers, old and new, local, national and international for all your support when visiting our beautiful Arcades where a warm welcome will always await you.

We have new dealers in both Arcades so do come and have a look. Stock is changing all the time so if you see something you like, buy it. We have many customers who have seen something they really like but say they will get it next time. Unfortunately, nine times out of ten, it will have been sold.

Gary – Unit 29 Gardening Area

As I said the gardening area is booming now with customers getting their gardens ready for the Spring.

Gary has a wonderful selection of metal frames, tools, all type of plant pots from small to very large, saddle stones, lovely statues and artwork to make your garden really stand out.

Below you will see Gary’s fantastic castle filed with garden tools, lamps, vases and all kinds of treasure.

Keith has been an avid collector for over 30 years so his collection is very diverse. It is a must come and see as I am sure there will be something you will fall in love with.

Pete Marsh

The Berkshire Coin Centre

It is with great sadness that we report our dear friend, colleague and stallholder, Pete Marsh has sadly passed way.

Pete was an amazing man. He was a Preacher helping anyone and everyone along the way (including me). He had a prayer for us all, anytime, anywhere.

Pete was at the Arcade for many years, specialising in militaria and coins. He had a fantastic client base as he knew so much about what he was buying and selling. It was devastating to us all when he retired a couple of years ago.

Pete starred in the BBC’s Antiques Road Trip with Catherine Southon (see picture below). It was a great day and a lot of fun. Pete was a natural!

Our condolences’ go out to his wonderful wife and family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
